PSSA REVIEW SESSIONS
PALCS math teachers will be offering in person and online review sessions for students in grade 11.
IN PERSON Review Sessions
These sessions will be held on Wednesday, March 7th from 1:00-2:30 pm and on Thursday, March 8th from 10:00-11:30 am at 1332 Enterprise Drive. Lessons presented will be interactive and hands-on. Please let your math teacher know if you are interested in attending these IN PERSON Review Sessions in West Chester.
ONLINE Review Sessions
These sessions will be held on Monday, March 5th from 10:00-11:30 am and on Wednesday, March 7th from 2:00-3:30 pm through the Community chat rooms. Please sign in to the following room 10 minutes prior to the start time if you are interested in attending these ONLINE Review Sessions.

Welcome back — hope everyone had a great weekend.
Term 2 of MP3 ends next Tuesday, so be sure that you are up to date with your assignments. I will have to turn grades in on Friday since I am traveling for PSSA on Monday, 3/12, and will not have time to work on grades. Please keep this in mind when you are planning your work for the next two weeks.

I will be at a training session this morning at 10 AM, which will probably last till around 11. Office hours will take place at noon, with calculus chat at 1.

Yesterday was the traditional date for George Washington’s birthday. In 1971 President Nixon signed a bill making the 3rd Monday in February a day to honor all past presidents of the US. Prior to 1971, Abraham Lincoln’s birthday was celebrated on February 12 and George Washington’s birthday was celebrated on February 22.
If you are having problems with the scatter plots on your calculator, please check the settings. There are directions in the power points as well as in the recordings and chats. I can’t diagnose your problem on the phone or in a moodle message; you have to come to office hours.
remember that Thursday is my busy day, so I am not available in the morning. Office hours begin at noon, with chats at 12:30 and 2 PM. Please come in during those times for help.

I have sent in your progress grades for term 1; they should be available to you later today.
Term 2 ends 2 weeks from today, so please be sure that you are up to date. Your project is due on March 2, so be sure that you have all your data and that you are working on the report/ slide show at this time.
If you have any assignments in draft status, remember that it is your responsibility to submit as a final for grading. I can’t enter points unless you submit as a final, so please take care of any assignments that fall into this category as soon as possible.
If you have any outstanding assignments from MP3-1, you can still turn them in. Points will go toward your overall MP3 grade; your term 1 grade will not be affected, but the final grade will include the points. It is in your best interest to turn in all assignments for credit.

Today is the first day of term 2 in marking period 3. Your progress grades should be posted soon.
Apparently there was an outage in moodle last night, so if you were unable to submit work, you can submit today and it will count.
Remember, in PLATO, your points are based on activity in a given week. You cannot earn points once the week is over. Any activity will earn points for the current week, but you can’t go back and expect to earn points retroactively.
